Loretta Mahi
Coordinator of Student Support
Loretta is born and raised in Ohio, where she also attended Ohio State University for her undergraduate program. During and after college she lived around the world from Mexico to Southern California to DC and finally settled in Hawaii after college and has been here ever since. Loretta was on Molokaʻi for 20 years where she started her career in education. She worked at a Hawaiian-focused charter school for 18 years in special education, student support, curriculum and administration. Loretta has completed two graduate programs in Special Education and School Administration. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors – gardening, beaching, hiking and spending time with her ‘ohana. She recently moved her family to Oʻahu and is very humbled and excited to be working at SEEQS alongside its passionate educators in a mission-aligned organization.
“I work at SEEQS because it's a strong organization with a passion for educating children through relevant, meaningful learning experiences while also preparing students academically for wherever their future takes them!”
