Joseph Richart
Social Studies Teacher

Mr. Joe was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, where he developed his love for the environment in the Rocky Mountains. He attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he received his undergraduate degree in history with a concentration in secondary education. While studying to become an educator, he engaged with his community by coaching for Colorado Special Olympics and unified sports, and he served as president of his university's Men’s Lacrosse team.

Following graduation, he began his career as a social studies educator at Joliet Learning Center, supporting middle and high school students with social-emotional disabilities. Concurrently, he was the defensive coordinator for high school boys in lacrosse. As a coach and teacher, he is passionate about providing quality education and enriching student experiences.
